Healing.Just one of the many benefits of having an angel...boyfriend? Mate? She wasn't entirely sure what label the two of them had. Just that they worked together, better than anything she could have hoped for. She loved the cranky guy, that's what was important, and she was pretty damned sure he loved her as well.
She opened her eyes blinking rapidly at Balthazar suddenly there and saying her name. There was the very very faint feeling of an ache where the wound was and she brought her hand up lightly touching the now healed spot. " Hey there good looking." she said with a smile " When'd you get here?" though she was flirting, her eyes went from him eyeing the water faucet spout suspiciously. " Did anything..." she wasn't quite sure exactly if she'd just imagined it, or if there really was some kind of new and particularly disgusting creature a foot.
She shot him a half cocked grin. " Never mind, I am sure it was nothing."
"Nothing," he repeated blandly as he helped her sit up. Her head would be fine; in truth, it wasn't that bad to begin with. He made sure she was steady, then reached for the rock sitting beside her.
And, no, he wasn't touching that. The blood didn't bother him, but what that disgusting snot was wasn't coming near him.
